View the What’s On calendar – it’s less full at the moment, but you can see how we’re using virtual events to stay connected in lockdown. Meanwhile, below are the details of our next Sunday service (details of future services are on the main calendar). For the moment our services will be on-line only:
Sunday 24th January 2021:
10.30am: Morning Worship via Zoom – log-in details will be circulated to St John’s congregation members on Friday; please contact Sarah in the Church Office if you would like to join us.
Speaker: Brian New
Readings: Genesis 14:17-20, John 2:1-11
Mark writes: ‘Be assured that the church is still active and I encourage you to focus on the present and not put your faith on hold while we wait for lockdown to end. God is still with us by His Holy Spirit and He still desires your time, your worship and your love so continue to “pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
Audio recordings of all our virtual Services are available on our website: See our Sermons page.
The Church continues to be alive and active and we’re delighted that we can continue to hold services in the church as well as streaming via Zoom.
Please read and observe the guidelines below to try and ensure we all keep each other safe from Covid-19. THANK YOU.
- Please use the hand sanitiser on arrival and departure
- Please do not move the chairs – they have been carefully positioned
- Be considerate when you enter and leave to give others space
- Toilet facilities are available in the hall if required

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength . . . Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”
THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US AT ST JOHN’S
