Women’s World Day of Prayer for 2019 is on Friday 1st March. The theme
is ‘Come, everything is ready’, and the service has been prepared by the
churches of Slovenia.
Churches all over the world will be holding services to meet and pray togeth-
er. This year, the Horsham service will be at St. Mary’s, Horsham, at 10.30.
There will not be an evening service.
There will also be a coffee morning to hear a presentation about life in Slovenia. This is at St John’s Church Hall on Saturday 23rd February, starting at 10:30. (Make the most of it – Lent won’t have started yet, so any cake-and-biscuit-giver-uppers can still tuck into traditional cakes and biscuits!) There are tickets for sale, price £3.
