Toasties Youth Club Needs More Volunteers!

Toasties Youth Club Needs More Volunteers!

Do you want to support our young people (aged 10yrs to 13yrs -Y6 to Y8), in Broadbridge Heath?

You will need to be available on a Friday night from 6pm to 8.30pm, term time only and we operate a rota which means that you don’t have to commit every week  (only do what’s practical for you). However, if you can’t make it until 6.25pm then that’s fine as long as I know that you’re still coming.

A volunteering application form and DBS check need to be completed before you can volunteer at Toasties Youth Club followed by a meeting with our Community Youth Worker Leader.

If you have a DBS document for working with children  (young people), that’s only 6 months old then this is acceptable and no need to do a new one.

During the sessions, you can choose just to supervise, chat with our young people, play board games or even get involved with our group games. Our ultimate aim is to provide a safe place for our young people to meet up, make new friends and grow to become fantastic adults.

Toasties Youth Club runs from 6.30pm to 8pm,  term time only at St John’s Community Hall, Church Road, Broadbridge Heath and is thriving with over 100 young people registered.  Don’t worry as we usually have between 25 to 35 young people per session.

We can achieve the impossible for our young people and volunteering at their Youth Club is a way that we can show them, we care enough to give up our spare time for them.

Our young people live in a fantastic and caring community, so please help us to do the impossible and increase our amazing, fantastic team of volunteers!
