I hope your week has started well and that you have managed to get out into the spring sunshine for at least a few moments today. Last weekend I had the privilege of leading a men’s retreat for another church at Ashburnham Place, near Battle. I was encouraging them to seek God in the every day and particularly to pay attention to the interruptions that come in the middle of our routines and to look for God in them – as often he speaks in that way – sometimes its the only way he can get our attention! For example when our mind goes to a person we know for no apparent reason or we notice something that stands out in nature. At those times, why not just pause and pray and ask God to speak and be prepared that he might!

Just a heads up that Big Church Day Out is back after a 2 year break. Our family is already looking forward to a much shorter journey to get there. All the information can be found on the website below. It is on over 2 days on Friday June 3rd and Saturday June 4th. You can go to both days or just one. There’s live music all day with headline bands playing in the evening. All very much worship focussed. There’s lots of family activities as well as food stalls, a tea garden etc all in the beautiful setting of Wiston House.
We are able to get discounted tickets at the group rate for over 100+. This means an adult weekend ticket is £32 and a day ticket is £27. There are discounts for senior, students, youth and children.
