On Sunday 29th September in the joint Communion service at 10.30am, Fiona Kennard and her cast will be performing some of the stories of Women of the Bible – written by Fiona herself. On the Saturday evening at 7.30pm there is an opportunity to see the drama performed in its entirety. Fiona says:
“Women of the bible ; Come and hear some amazing stories of inspirational women from the pages of the bible, from Rahab to Ruth hear what these women have to say to us today. The large cast is drawn from the members of St Johns including some regular actors as well as those making their acting debut. Come and support them and help raise money for women for Women International, a charity working with women in conflict zones around the world. Tickets are free, there will be a retiring collection for the charity.”
The cast has been rehearsing very hard so do come along and support them on the 29th if you can.
