| Ewen Souter has
been Team Vicar of St. John's since 2001. He is
married to Judith and they have three children
David (9), Hannah (7) and Joshua (5). Ewen enjoys
walking and cycling with his family, watching
films, playing the cello and baking muffins. Before
becoming a vicar, Ewen was a cell biologist.
Judith Souter heads up the Women’s Ministry - overseeing Tuesday at Ten morning and Monday evening meetings (Times of Refreshing). She is a professional musician and also leads one of our worship groups. |

| Hazel Garner
leads the Tuesday at Ten women's group. These
meetings are held at St John’s Hall (at 10am on
Tueday mornings!). Hazel is married to Dan and they
have two children, Ellen and Ethan. She also works
as a primary school teacher.

| Brian New is a
Lay Reader at St. John's, and also helps as part of
our church finance team. He is married to Liz and
they have two children, Alex and Philip.

| Hugo Ellis leads
the Space Project using the
performing arts to communicate the Christian
faith in a creative way. He works for St. John’s
half-time and also teaches drama at a local
sixth form college.

| Rachel Ellis is
our Director of Worship and oversees our four
Sunday worship groups. She is married to Hugo and
they have two daughters, Charlotte and Katy. During
the week Rachel works as a professional violinist
and is a member of the Sussex Piano Trio.

| Paul Ironmonger
supervises our Youth and Children's Ministry. He is
a science teacher during the week and is married to
Judith. They have three children: David, Ruth and
Peter.

| Michael Bell
heads up our Men's Ministry – monthly breakfasts
and occasional social activities. Michael runs two
consultancy businesses – one involving health and
safety advice, the other vertical access to tall
buildings. He is married to Mercedes, his Spanish
administrator!

| Sarah Tombling is
the church administrator and oversees church
communication and publicity. She also works
part-time as a freelance radio drama production
assistant and is married to David. They have two
children, Isobel and Jacob.

| Liz New is one of
our two church wardens, helping to make sure that
Sunday services happen smoothly and that our church
building is in good working order. In the week Liz
works as a special needs teaching assistant at a
local primary school. She is married to Brian.

| Jon Mansell is our other church warden - he is married to Kate and they have two children, Grace and Benjamin. Jon works as an IT trainer. |
